The Rainbow Butterfly

There was once a sad butterfly. It stayed in the garden all day. One day a little boy

went to the garden. The butterfly was very

happy. He thought the little boy would

play with him but he didn’t. The little

boy did not see the butterfly. The little

boy picked a flower and went back to his

house. He left the butterfly in the garden

all alone. The butterfly was sad. He wanted

the little boy to see him. He wanted to

show the little boy his wings that looked

like a rainbow. Then he had an idea.

“I’m going to wait for the little boy by the

window,” he flew up to the boy’s bedroom

window and waited.

The End.

Editor’s take: Be determined and keep flying high
